SLR – MetallbearbeitungsgesmbH

on this website (hereinafter referred to as ‘Site’).

Access data/server log files

The provider (or their webspace provider) collects relevant data each time the Site is accessed (known as server log files). This access data includes:

the name of the website accessed, file, the date and time of access, the data volume transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider only uses the log data for statistical evaluations for business purposes, security and to optimise the Site. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively, if there is a justifiable suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Making contact

When contacting the provider (by contact form or email, for example), the user’s details are stored for the purposes of processing the query and in case there are any follow-up questions.

Inclusion of services and third-party content

Third-party content may be included within this website, including, for example, YouTube videos, map data from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as ‘Third-party providers’) have access to the users’ IP address as this is required to send the content to the respective user’s browser. The IP address is thus required for this content to be displayed. We endeavour only to use content from providers who solely use the IP address for the purposes of delivering content. However, we have no influence over whether Third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. Should we become aware that this is the case, we will inform the user of this.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable specific information relating to the access device (PC, smartphone or similar) to be stored on the device. These are used to optimise websites for users (e.g. storage of login details). They are also used to record statistical data regarding the use of the website and to analyse them for the purpose of improving the Site. Users can exert an influence on the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option for limiting or fully preventing the storage of cookies. It should be stated, however, that use, and in particular user convenience, can be adversely affected if cookies are disabled.

You can manage many of the cookies that companies use for online adverts via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ .

Withdrawal, changes, corrections and updates

The user is entitled to be informed free of charge about any personal data of theirs that is being stored. The user is also entitled to have their personal data blocked or deleted and to have any incorrect data corrected, unless this is precluded by a statutory retention obligation.
